Description:

This is a remote permanent position for those based in the UK or Ireland.
The role is for a Senior Python GenAI Developer who will help enterprise clients translate their requirements into functional and appealing interactive applications.
The ideal candidate will be outcome-driven and focused on delivering the best quality output for clients.
Responsibilities include designing and building applications using Python and GenAI tools such as Langchain.
The developer will support component design, development, and maintenance, ensuring personal technical quality standards within the project team.
The role involves assisting with defining structured practices, particularly in source code management, building, and deployment.
Contributions to Nearform tooling and open-source projects are expected.
The developer will design and implement data storage solutions and optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
Maintaining version control and build processes using appropriate tools is part of the job.
The role includes gathering feedback from users and clients to build tailored solutions.
Assisting with the analysis of client requirements and collaborating with client teams is also required.
The developer will work with and support the Delivery Architect in project execution and timely delivery.

Requirements:

Significant experience delivering at a Senior Developer level in an enterprise environment is required.
Practical experience in delivering within an agile environment is necessary.
Candidates should have practical experience in developing real-world solutions and platforms.
A deep understanding of Python is essential.
A deep understanding of SQL Databases, preferably PostgreSQL, is required.
Candidates must have a deep understanding of version control tools, particularly Git.
A good understanding of security and performance considerations is necessary.
Understanding of layout aesthetics, responsive design, and mobile web development is required.
Candidates should have an understanding of architectural and design patterns.
General familiarity with a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools is expected.
