Description:
CloudLinux is a global remote-first company focused on delivering high volume, low-cost Linux infrastructure and security products.
The company is seeking a Senior Python/Full Stack Developer (Django-focused) to create an internal build and automation system from scratch.
The product aims to expedite the delivery of security patches as part of Extended Lifecycle Support Services.
The developer will work closely with colleagues, providing a valuable opportunity to enhance the work of fellow engineers.
The role requires a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end pipeline, including architecture/design, planning, development, and deployment.
Key responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and delivering web applications using Django, implementing user interfaces with front-end technologies, and managing Linux-based systems for deployment.
The developer will also build pipelines for code testing and delivery, ensure application security, troubleshoot code, and review colleagues' code.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Python (Django) or full-stack development is required.
Proficiency in Django and Python for backend development is essential.
Strong experience with Linux as a development and deployment environment is necessary.
At least 1 year of experience with front-end technologies like React, Vue.js, or Angular is required.
Proven experience in building web applications and scalable systems is a must.
Hands-on experience with containers, such as Docker, for development and production is needed.
Proficiency with Git for version control, including branching, merging, and pull requests, is required.
A solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) is necessary.
Experience with libraries for managing background tasks like Celery or similar is required.
Familiarity with tools for managing task queues like RabbitMQ or Kafka is needed.
Strong experience with building CI pipelines in tools like Gitlab or Jenkins is essential.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
An intermediate level of English language proficiency is necessary.
The ability to work with vague requirements and collaborate effectively as a team player is essential.
