Remote Senior Quality Engineer

Description:

• As a Senior Quality Engineer at Celonis, you will work within the Engineering Product Excellence (EPE) team to ensure high-quality product delivery.
• You will collaborate with various engineering roles like Developers, SREs, SDETs, and QEs to advocate for shift left practices and build reliable systems.
• Your role involves defining a collaborative test strategy, working closely with the Product team to enhance the end user experience, and ensuring efficient testing practices with Developers.
• You will be responsible for delivering robust test coverage, minimizing duplication, and driving high-quality test coverage within the team.
• Operating independently, you will contribute to improving overall processes and quality within the EPE Chapter.
• Your work will be data-driven, ensuring auditability goals are met and team KPIs reflect the project's quality status.

Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• Deep knowledge of Agile development processes and best QA practices is necessary.
• Experience with bug tracking and test repository software is essential.
• 3+ years of experience in delivering robust test automation using tools like Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright is required. Knowledge of Python and/or SQL is a plus.
• Proficiency in API testing and manipulation is necessary.
• Strong communication skills across management levels and formal/informal settings are required.
• Experience with CI/CD processes is a must.
