Halo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior R Developer to join their dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development using R, with an understanding of data science and statistical analysis.
This role involves leading complex projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data-driven solutions.
Responsibilities include managing and executing advanced data analysis and software development projects using R, conducting sophisticated statistical analyses, developing and maintaining data processing pipelines, writing and deploying efficient R code, providing mentorship to junior developers, collaborating with stakeholders, conducting code reviews, creating documentation, and staying updated with the latest developments in R programming and data science.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in R development is required.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field is necessary.
Proficiency in R programming language and its core packages (dplyr, ggplot2, tidyr, etc.) is essential.
A strong understanding of statistical methods and data analysis techniques is required.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is necessary.
Familiarity with database management and SQL is required.
Knowledge of other programming languages (e.g., Python) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights are essential.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
The candidate should be comfortable exploring and adopting new libraries or frameworks as needed.
An eagerness to participate in innovation towards new solutions to existing problems is necessary.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously is required.
