The position is for a Senior R&D EMC/EMI Engineer in Power Electronics, working with a business partner in the Energy & Electric industry.
Be part of a dynamic, cross-functional team developing a modular converter platform based on wide bandgap semiconductors like SiC.
Contribute to the design and development process, including concept generation, simulation, circuit design, prototyping, and validation of new products.
Solve technical challenges related to EMC/EMI, ensuring signal and power integrity while collaborating with global R&D teams.

Requirements:

A BSc/MSc/PhD degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required.
Experience in RF electronics, high-speed semiconductor circuits, power electronic converters, and passive filters is necessary.
Familiarity with simulation tools such as Spice, SIMetrix, Simulink, PLECS, or AnSys is essential.
A strong understanding of signal theory for electronic applications is required.
Experience with the specification, selection, and qualification of power devices, PCB circuits, and passive components is needed.
Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment for measurements and testing is mandatory.
A strong commitment to safety and adherence to workplace safety guidelines is expected.
Candidates should possess a high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and a willingness to learn new technologies.
A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with strong communication skills is essential.
