The Senior React Developer will be part of the Open Banking Team, focusing on ensuring that banking services run smoothly and address real-life problems.
This role can be performed remotely anywhere in Europe or in one of the offices located in Frankfurt, Limassol, Amsterdam, Vilnius, or London.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining frontend components and features using Next.js, React, and other modern web technologies.
The developer will collaborate with designers to create responsive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance user experience.
Close collaboration with backend developers is required to integrate frontend components with server-side APIs and databases.
The role involves working towards the launch of a new product that will create new verticals for the company.
The developer will optimize application performance and scalability through code optimization, caching strategies, and performance monitoring.
Writing clean, modular, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards is essential.
Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality and consistency is expected.
Staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development and sharing knowledge with the team is crucial.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in frontend web development is necessary.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and frontend frameworks/libraries such as React and Next.js is essential.
Strong experience with testing methodologies, including unit testing, end-to-end testing, Jest, and React testing library is required.
A solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles is necessary.
Strong knowledge of web performance optimization techniques and browser compatibility issues is required.
Familiarity with security practices in frontend development is essential.
Experience with version control systems, such as Git, and awareness of CI/CD pipelines is required.
Familiarity with Docker is preferred.
The candidate should stay informed about emerging tools and technologies to enhance frontend capabilities.
The ability to work independently and take ownership of test automation projects is necessary.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
