Remote Senior React Native Developer (Poland, Contract)

Description:

• This is a remote contract position for those based in Poland.
• The role involves working on a variety of interesting projects using and creating open-source software.
• The Senior React Native Developer will help clients translate their requirements into functional and appealing interactive applications.
• Responsibilities include building both front and backend components and integration between them.
• The ideal candidate should be outcome-driven and passionate about delivering high-quality output within specified timeframes.

• The main task will be designing and building applications using Node.js and React Native.
• Additional responsibilities include supporting component design, development, and maintenance, and taking responsibility for personal technical quality standards.
• The developer will assist with defining structured practices in source code management, building, and deployment.
• Contributions to Nearform tooling and open-source projects are expected.
• The role includes designing and implementing data storage solutions, implementing security and data protection, and optimizing application performance for speed and scalability.
• The developer will use appropriate tools for version control and build processes, gather feedback from users and clients, and assist with the analysis of client requirements.
• Collaboration with client teams and support for the Delivery Architect in project execution and timely delivery is also part of the role.

Requirements:

• Significant experience delivering at a Senior Developer level in an enterprise environment is required.
• Practical experience in delivering within an agile environment is necessary.
• Candidates should have practical experience in developing real-world solutions and platforms.
• A deep understanding of JavaScript frameworks, including React, is essential.
• A deep understanding of version control tools, particularly Git, is required.
• Good understanding of layout aesthetics, responsive design, and mobile web development is needed.
• General familiarity with a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools is expected.
• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills are necessary.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.
• Empathy and people skills are important for this role.
