Description:

The position is for a Senior React Native Engineer based in Argentina, preferably in CABA, GBA, or Mar del Plata.
The role involves developing apps for companies that have a significant impact and will be used by millions of users.
Responsibilities include mentoring junior engineers, staying updated on new technologies and trends in the app space, and participating in agile software development practices and peer code reviews.
The job consists of 80% hands-on development and 20% client interaction and documentation.
The company is looking for freelancers who can commit full-time to projects lasting between 4 to 8 weeks.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience with JavaScript (ES6).
A deep knowledge of React Native is essential, including component composition, lifecycle events, and hooks.
Experience with front-end tooling such as NPM, Yarn, Webpack, Babel, ESLint, Prettier, CI, and unit testing is required.
Mobile development experience, particularly with integration of NativeModules and custom iOS/Android SDKs, is a significant plus.
Experience in building commercial apps that have been released in Google’s Play and/or Apple’s App Stores is also highly desirable.
Applicants must currently reside in Argentina and possess an upper intermediate oral English level for client interactions.
Candidates should be curious, experienced in leading technology decisions, and have a good understanding of the network and data layer to create fast applications.
A strong focus on delivery and the ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks is crucial.
