Lazer is seeking a skilled React Native Engineer to join our Commerce Team.
You will play a pivotal role in developing world-class mobile applications for a diverse portfolio of clients, including enterprise commerce brands, innovative startups, and high-profile individuals.
The role involves working across the full mobile development stack, leveraging Shopify's mobile architecture framework to create immersive, performant, and visually stunning mobile commerce experiences.
This position requires both technical expertise and a keen eye for design, along with the ability to navigate ambiguous environments and contribute to the discovery process of new products.

Requirements:

You must have strong experience building React Native applications for both iOS and Android platforms, with a deep understanding of the mobile development lifecycle.
Proven experience with Shopify’s mobile architecture framework and its integration into mobile commerce applications is essential.
A track record of building mobile apps for large enterprise commerce brands, meeting the demands of high-scale businesses is required.
Familiarity with eCommerce platforms like Shopify and a proven ability to build features that drive engagement and conversion is necessary.
You should possess the ability to innovate within technical constraints and translate complex requirements into effective solutions.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with designers, engineers, and client teams are crucial.
Confidence to navigate ambiguous projects and contribute to product discovery and planning is expected.
A keen eye for user experience and aesthetics, with the ability to collaborate closely with design teams is important.
Demonstrated ability to design scalable systems and write clean, maintainable code is required.
Eagerness to stay current on the latest mobile technologies, frameworks, and commerce trends is essential.
A self-starter attitude with the ability to anticipate needs and identify opportunities for improvement is necessary.
Capacity to handle challenges positively and learn from setbacks is expected.
