Description:

The Senior Research Associate is focused on the delivery of projects/tasks, driven by KPIs, while managing the performance of the team whose primary function is to train an AI engine.
You will be working on training AI to interact with humans in entirely new ways, and you’ll be responsible for helping the AI learn how to best collaborate with humans by interacting with a variety of software tools.
As part of this role, you will leverage your skills and background to establish processes, and manage, train and mentor junior team members.
You will own a specific area, and be accountable for deliverables, quality, and overall processes for the area.
Responsibilities include working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, leading and managing team members in execution of projects/tasks, setting targets for the team (KPIs) for projects, and monitoring progress against KPIs.
You will attend daily stand-ups with the client, troubleshoot errors, perform quality audits, and contribute to the completion of daily and weekly reports.
You will develop and implement new processes within identified areas of ownership, train junior team members on processes and best practices, and ensure tasks are completed on time with quality.
You will think strategically about end-to-end processes and how to improve them, identify risks in processes, and recommend solutions or alternatives to mitigate.
Learning new software programs on the job is also part of the role.

Requirements:

A technical aptitude or experience working with AI is required.
Leadership experience and performance management experience, including leading or training others, is necessary.
Experience managing KPIs is essential.
Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills are required.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are necessary.
Strong analytical skills and process improvement experience are required.
A strong aptitude for working with Google Sheets, Zoom, and Slack is necessary.
You must exemplify a proactive approach, which includes a high level of accountability, transparency, and teamwork.
The ability to learn on the job is essential.
A completed college degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or Cognitive Science is desirable.
