Description:
The Senior Revenue Data Analyst will join a dynamic Accounting team and is expected to have a strong command of US GAAP, revenue systems, and core data skills.
This role involves cross-team collaboration with various departments including Technical Accounting, Operational Accounting, Engineering, Product, Finance, Tax, and Legal.
Responsibilities include developing comprehensive accounting data requirements for automating journal entries, leading operational improvement initiatives, and monitoring data quality of journal entries.
The analyst will work with Product and Engineering teams to enhance the daily Revenue Reconciliation process and manage reconciliation analysis.
Monthly revenue accounting close responsibilities will include GAAP revenue analysis, cost of revenue analysis, accounts receivable reconciliations, and reviewing journal entries and close package deliverables.
The position also involves conducting ad hoc analyses and projects as assigned.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in revenue accounting, data analytics, and/or business intelligence.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606 Revenue Recognition is required; knowledge of IFRS is a plus.
Intermediate to advanced SQL skills are necessary, along with the ability to work with large volumes of transactional data; Python skills are a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to adapt to changing work environments.
The candidate must be able to interact with all levels of management and cross-functional teams, both internally and externally.
Benefits:
The compensation package includes a base salary ranging from $118,300 to $174,000 USD, determined by job-related factors.
