Remote Senior Robotics Engineer, Simulation and Validation

Description:

• Develop open loop simulation system for sidewalk robot environment to test autonomy algorithms.
• Integrate on-robot software modules with simulation engine.
• Conduct software release testing and ensure quality and performance of autonomy software.
• Implement automatic metrics generation pipeline for benchmark regression datasets.
• Create tests to validate hardware and software performance.
• Support software feature testing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in automation and simulation scenarios for robots.
• Proficiency in creating simulation scenarios using engines like Gazebo, focusing on robotics.
• Experience in deploying automated testing for hardware systems at scale.
• Ability to collaborate with development and product teams for effective testing strategies.
• Familiarity with core QA methodologies and scripting languages like C++ and Python.
• Strong communication skills and motivation to work in a team.
