As a Senior Ruby Backend Engineer, you will lead integration projects between Qonto and Regate, enhancing capabilities across Europe.
You will be part of a 50+ team of skilled engineers organized in squads to develop finance solutions.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining high-quality Ruby code, collaborating with Product and QA teams, mentoring junior developers, and optimizing software for performance and scalability.
The tech stack includes Ruby on Rails for the backend, ReactJS, and TypeScript for the frontend, running on a Kubernetes cluster hosted on GCP with PostgreSQL as the database.

Requirements:

You must have strong experience as a software engineer with exposure to architectural patterns of large, high-scale web applications.
A pragmatic and product-driven mindset is essential, with a focus on solving problems and delivering customer value.
You should be quality-driven, following best practices in code quality, testing, and code reviews.
Curiosity and a willingness to learn are important traits for this role.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team are required.
Fluency in English is necessary.
