Remote Senior Ruby on Rails (RoR) Developer - Remote

• The position is for a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer at Reveal Health Tech, a thriving IT startup focused on transforming the healthcare industry.
• This is a remote role with US shift timings from 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST.
• The developer will work on cutting-edge projects for digital health companies, developing innovative and user-friendly web applications.
• Responsibilities include providing production support and maintenance, troubleshooting application errors, conducting application upgrades, designing and implementing new features, and ensuring robust testing and deployment processes.
• The role also involves supporting vendor migrations, configuring systems for updates, and providing end-user support.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of expertise in Ruby on Rails, both frontend and backend.
• Production support experience and a willingness to handle critical tasks are essential.
• Proficiency with Aptible and JIRA is considered a good-to-have.
• Prior experience in the healthcare domain and lead experience are preferred.
• Technical skills required include automated testing with RSpec and Capybara, frontend components like TailwindCSS and DaisyUI, real-time updates using Turbo and ActionCable, background jobs with Sidekiq Pro, and familiarity with Postgres and Redis databases hosted on Aptible.
• Experience with CircleCI for CI/CD processes is also necessary.
