Description:

  • As a Ruby on Rails Software Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain core applications for the ExactRx platform.
  • Enable hospitals to streamline operations and deliver better patient care.
  • Collaborate closely with the ExactRx team to define, design, and implement new platform features.
  • Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails, contributing to both backend and frontend systems.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
  • Optimize application performance and resolve bottlenecks to enhance user experience.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance the platform.
  • Candidates must be available to start within two weeks of accepting the offer.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks (e.g., Django, Laravel) is necessary.
  • Full-stack development experience is required, with expertise in backend and frontend technologies.
  • Proficiency in frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React.js, Vue.js, or Angular is essential.
  • A strong understanding of database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) is required.
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with microservices architectures is necessary.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks such as RSpec or Minitest is required.
  • Proficiency in version control systems like Git, using platforms like GitHub or GitLab is essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities are necessary.
