The Senior Rust Engineer will use the Rust language to add new features for first responder drone pilots to control their aircraft and send telemetry and video to other pilots.
Responsibilities include creating features and bug fixes, adding support for new drone hardware and accessories, following and evolving Rust development best practices, and flying drones to test and validate changes.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience with Rust.
A minimum of 5 years of experience building high-performance systems with Rust, C, C++, Go, or a similar language is required.
Experience with concurrent processing and websockets is necessary.
The ability to work well within a team while managing individual projects is essential.
MAVLink experience is a significant plus.
Candidates should be excited about working with drones, robotics, and first responders.
