Description:

  • Play a crucial role in the sales cycle by providing technical expertise through presentations, product demos, and technical evaluations.
  • Qualify and close opportunities with customers, collaborating with the product team to prioritize features based on field insights.
  • Partner cross-functionally with leaders in Product, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Partnerships.
  • Engage product owners and engineers, conduct product demonstrations, and manage proof of concepts.
  • Foster technical champions, collaborate with the Sales team, and provide feedback to the Product team.
  • Devise integration strategies with customers' smart devices and establish credibility within the industry.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years in a Sales Engineering role within B2B SaaS.
  • Curiosity, charisma, and a passion for learning and sharing technical knowledge.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of energizing discussions virtually.
  • Ability to deliver compelling product demonstrations, adapt to evolving situations, and challenge when necessary.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and seek guidance proactively.
  • Proficient at reading customer dynamics, steering conversations effectively, and holding a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% within the US.
  • Proficiency in coding, especially in C or similar languages, experience in developer tools or cloud observability, personal interest in hardware tinkering and technical projects, and previous involvement in bringing IoT products to market.
