Description:
Play a crucial role in the sales cycle by providing technical expertise through presentations, product demos, and technical evaluations.
Qualify and close opportunities with customers, collaborating with the product team to prioritize features based on field insights.
Partner cross-functionally with leaders in Product, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Partnerships.
Engage product owners and engineers, conduct product demonstrations, and manage proof of concepts.
Foster technical champions, collaborate with the Sales team, and provide feedback to the Product team.
Devise integration strategies with customers' smart devices and establish credibility within the industry.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years in a Sales Engineering role within B2B SaaS.
Curiosity, charisma, and a passion for learning and sharing technical knowledge.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of energizing discussions virtually.
Ability to deliver compelling product demonstrations, adapt to evolving situations, and challenge when necessary.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and seek guidance proactively.
Proficient at reading customer dynamics, steering conversations effectively, and holding a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Willingness to travel up to 25% within the US.
Proficiency in coding, especially in C or similar languages, experience in developer tools or cloud observability, personal interest in hardware tinkering and technical projects, and previous involvement in bringing IoT products to market.
