The Senior Sales Engineer will partner with Sales to scope new client solutions and improve transitions from pre-sales to post-sales delivery.
This role requires expertise in the external data ecosystem and the power of data platforms.
The position involves engaging with senior stakeholders in the financial services and insurance verticals.
Responsibilities include working with the sales team to uncover client objectives, serving as the technical architect, leading technical discussions, and conducting workshops.
The Senior Sales Engineer will analyze business processes, develop technical documentation, and collaborate with development teams.
The role also includes managing a team of business analysts, overseeing project delivery, and ensuring client onboarding and training.
The position requires monitoring client usage and satisfaction, providing feedback to team members, and promoting a collaborative team environment.
Requirements:
A degree in a relevant discipline such as computer science, analytics, or software engineering is preferred.
A minimum of 3 years of experience leading a high-performing presales, consulting, or customer success team is required.
Experience in scoping or leading 6- or 7-figure enterprise deals is necessary.
Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in project management or solution engineering, particularly in banking, insurance, consulting, or fintech.
Demonstrated experience operating at the executive level with clients and building trusted advisor relationships is essential.
A passion for data and analytics as a solution for business problems is required.
Exceptional listening and communication skills are necessary to synthesize complex products and problems.
Candidates should possess a polished interpersonal style, strong leadership skills, high emotional intelligence, and client-centricity.
