Description:
- As a Senior Sales Engineer at Ping Identity, you will collaborate with the sales team to engage in customer meetings, demonstrations, and proof of concepts to showcase the technical and business benefits of the solutions.
- You will be a part of the Sales Engineering Hub (SE Hub) team, focusing on the advanced technical capabilities of the identity management platform.
- Responsibilities include providing technical assistance on complex opportunities, collaborating with product management for product enhancements, and delivering presentations and demonstrations to customers.
- The role involves mentoring junior team members, developing subject matter expertise in Ping Identity solutions, and traveling up to 40% as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent field, or 5+ years' experience in enterprise-level software systems in a customer-facing role.
- Proficiency in English, additional languages beneficial.
- Deep knowledge of identity protocols like SAML, WS-Fed, OAuth, OIDC, and SCIM, along with experience in technologies such as LDAP, SSL/TLS, PKI, RADIUS, SQL, DNS, and JDBC.
- Experience with programming languages, web technologies, and mobile OSes like JavaScript, Python, Node.js, HTTP, HTML, CSS, JSON, Java, iOS, and Android.
- Strong communication, customer service skills, and the ability to link technical capabilities to customer needs.
- Familiarity with IAM concepts and infrastructure, networking technologies, and cloud services providers.
