Description:
The Senior Sales Engineer at Algolia will work closely with the sales and solutions organizations to drive technical success with solutions.
Responsibilities include leading the technical pre-sales relationship, demonstrating products, engaging with C-level executives, answering RFPs, and providing consultative solutions.
The ideal candidate should be able to communicate technical concepts to various stakeholders and advocate for customer interests to product and engineering teams.
The role involves collaborating with sales teams, assisting in the sales process, developing custom search applications, and contributing to thought leadership in the Search and Discovery space.
The Senior Sales Engineer will also work with Solution Architects and Customer Success teams for successful onboarding post-sales.
Requirements:
Fluent in German and English.
5-7 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, preferably in the SaaS space.
Previous software development experience in Front End and Back-End technologies like Java, Javascript, Ruby, Go, Node, Python, Swift/Objective-C.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Superior organizational skills and ability to work with multiple customers effectively.
Experience in a high-growth environment with a revenue range of $50-200M+ ARR.
Nice to have: Experience in designing mockups/wireframes/UI, background in the search industry or e-commerce, knowledge in frameworks like Magento and Shopify, familiarity with Analytics and SEO.
