Description:
Wherobots is seeking a passionate, skilled, and experienced Sales Engineer / Solutions Architect to join their dynamic team.
The role involves building the geospatial cloud database of the future, its cloud platform, and control plane.
The Sales Engineer / Solutions Architect will provide technical expertise and support to clients during both pre-sales and post-sales phases.
Responsibilities include understanding customer technical needs, demonstrating how products meet those needs, and ensuring a smooth transition from sales to implementation and support.
Key responsibilities in the pre-sales phase include collaborating with the sales team, preparing and delivering technical presentations, acting as a technical advisor, assisting in the development of RFPs and RFIs, and staying updated on industry trends.
In the post-sales phase, the role involves working closely with clients for smooth transitions, providing training and technical support, collaborating with product development, troubleshooting technical issues, and documenting client interactions and solutions.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience is required.
A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales and post-sales technical support role is necessary.
A strong understanding of the complete data analytics stack and workflow, from ETL to data platform design to BI and analytics tools is essential.
Excellent communication and presentation skills are required, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong skills in databases, data warehouses, and data processing are necessary.
Problem-solving and analytical abilities are required.
A customer-focused approach with a commitment to client satisfaction is essential.
