Description:
The Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer will utilize the SFMC platform to create and execute marketing campaigns.
The role requires the ability to work independently and directly with Marketing teams.
The developer will drive the strategy for the email program to deliver strong engagement and results through audience segmentation, deliverability, best practices, and data analysis.
Responsibilities include analyzing the effectiveness of Digital Marketing deliverables, measuring against objectives, and reporting results.
The position involves flawless delivery of daily campaigns, troubleshooting issues that arise, and implementing solutions to mitigate future problems.
The candidate must be aware of information security measures such as acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security.
Understanding and reporting security risks and their impact on the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets is essential.
The role also requires understanding how data is stored, processed, or transmitted from a data privacy and protection standpoint.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of SFMC experience, including campaign development and integration.
A background with multiple SFMC implementations is required.
Proficiency in SQL, AMP Script, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is necessary.
A strong business understanding of digital marketing is essential.
Experience with data model design, campaign orchestration, lifecycle programs, personalization, marketing data optimization, and list cleansing is required.
Experience with SSJS and working knowledge with Litmus is preferred.
Candidates should have experience with SFMC custom report setup and platform migration.
Familiarity with Marketing Cloud personalization, Marketing Cloud Advertising, Marketing Cloud Datorama, and Marketing Cloud Intelligence is necessary.
SFMC Certification (Marketing Cloud Specialist or Email Specialist) is preferred.
Working experience with ESP platforms such as Responsys and Braze is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
A demonstrated history of establishing and maintaining relationships with internal and external clients is essential.
Candidates must be adaptable and solution-focused with strong troubleshooting skills.
A Bachelor's degree in business, Communications, Technology, Marketing, Math, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
Willingness to be on call for any QA support outside of business hours is necessary.
