Remote Senior Security Engineer

Description:

• Radformation is seeking a self-starting Cybersecurity Expert to join their innovative and fast-moving organization.
• The role is fully remote and ideal for someone who wishes to use their technical skills to improve cancer care globally.
• The candidate will work within Radformation’s remote teams to help bring radiation oncology efficiency and automation software to market.
• The position requires a seasoned expert who understands how to meet cybersecurity needs within the regulated medical device software development process.
• Responsibilities include creating Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Threat Models, Security Risk Management Reports, and Vulnerability Assessments.
• The candidate will collaborate with technical staff on product teams while managing penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, SAST, and Software Composition Analysis.
• The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory needs while maintaining security for Radformation and its customers.

Requirements:

• A Master's degree in a related technical field with at least 15 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a related field with at least 20 years of experience is required.
• Experience implementing controls for cybersecurity regulations such as ISO 81001 and the UK NHS CyberEssentials is mandatory.
• Familiarity with Agile software development is required.
• Preferred experience includes coding in large complex systems, such as Radiotherapy Treatment Planning Systems or CAD systems.
• Medical device software development experience is necessary.
• Experience with medical technologies and interfacing, including FHIR, HL7, and DICOM, is also required.
