Description:

The Senior Security Engineer will manage and optimize tooling for cloud security monitoring.
This role involves investigating security incidents, performing root cause analysis, and recommending corrective actions.
The engineer will implement security logging and monitoring to detect and respond to threats.
Conducting vulnerability management to identify and remediate security risks in cloud infrastructure, as well as mobile and web application code, is a key responsibility.
The position requires developing and maintaining security automation scripts and services.
The engineer will secure and optimize CDN configurations to enhance application security and performance.
Collaboration with development and operations teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines is essential.
Staying up to date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security best practices is expected.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in cloud security, preferably with AWS services such as CloudTrail, IAM, EC2, S3, and RDS.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container environments is required.
Knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Python, Ruby, or JavaScript/TypeScript, is necessary.
Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards, including CIS, NIST, SOC 2, and ISO 27001, is essential.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are required.
