Description:
Warner Music Group is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join their global team of creative and collaborative problem solvers.
The role involves building highly secure and scalable solutions to drive innovation and operational excellence.
Responsibilities include making production systems more reliable through system monitoring, troubleshooting, problem identification, and resolution.
The engineer will coordinate projects and resources as new business offerings and technologies are developed and implemented.
The position requires excellent communication and technical skills, working closely with all business units to determine design criteria and proof of concept.
The engineer will act as an engineering liaison to outside entities, manage project budgets, and vendor relationships.
Key tasks include developing and maintaining a security architecture process, participating in application and infrastructure projects, and validating security configurations.
The role also involves conducting vulnerability testing, leveraging SIEM platforms for forensic investigations, and reviewing security reports for unusual activities.
The engineer will collaborate on critical IT projects to ensure security issues are addressed throughout the project life cycle and participate in incident response activities.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 10+ years of hands-on network administration experience.
Direct experience managing security infrastructure such as firewalls, IPSs, WAFs, endpoint protection, SIEM, and DLP is required.
Experience managing Security Operations Centers and implementing DLP solutions is essential.
Candidates should have a verifiable background in reviewing application code for security vulnerabilities.
Strong knowledge of vulnerability management tools and methodologies for threat-modeling exercises is necessary.
Familiarity with modern authentication protocols (SAML, OAUTH) and cryptography (asymmetrical/symmetrical encryption, hashing) is required.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Bash is expected.
Experience leading high-profile security projects is preferred.
Additional experience in CI/CD pipeline DEVSECOPS, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and knowledge of regulations and standards (PCI-DSS, GDPR, NIST CSF) is a plus.
