Description:

Rad AI is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer with expertise in application and cloud security to enhance security measures across their platform.
The role involves integrating and managing security tools within CI/CD pipelines to catch issues early, performing code and system security assessments, and collaborating with developers to address vulnerabilities.
Responsibilities include conducting architectural reviews, championing secure coding practices, and contributing to security policies and design standards.
The engineer will assess and strengthen AWS cloud environments, detect and remediate misconfigurations, and collaborate with DevOps to secure infrastructure-as-code.
Additional tasks include monitoring security alerts, developing incident response plans, and driving security-focused projects from inception to completion.
This position reports to the Director of IT and Cybersecurity.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience in Application Security and 2 years in DevSecOps or Cloud Security.
Demonstrated knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as OWASP ASVS, NIST SSDF, and AWS Well-Architected Framework is essential.
Experience with security tools and technologies, including Kubernetes, Snyk, Wiz, GitHub Actions, and AWS GuardDuty, is necessary.
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are required.
Professional certifications like CCSP, CEH, CSSLP, or AWS Certified Security - Specialty are highly desirable.
