Remote Senior Security Engineer, Application Security

Description:

• The Senior Security Engineer will be responsible for driving Front’s Application Security roadmap.
• They will provide security guidance on new products and technologies.
• Collaborate with other teams to enhance the defensive model at Front.
• Triage and respond to bug bounty reports.
• Conduct security assessments on web applications, mobile clients, and architectural designs.
• Establish and maintain secure development practices.
• Communicate security risks to stakeholders and engineers.

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of threat modeling, web security vulnerabilities, and their mitigation.
• Previous industry experience in security systems within a large-scale internet service.
• Proven track record of launching complex projects in ambiguous environments.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Javascript, Python, Ruby, or similar.
• Strong grasp of core internet technologies such as TCP/IP.
• Familiarity with web and mobile application architecture.
• Experience with large-scale cloud environments.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Bonus: Experience with AWS technologies, node.js, or at a fast-growing B2B SaaS company.
