Description:
1Password is seeking an experienced Senior Security Engineer to join their Corporate Security team.
The role is fully remote and available to candidates in the US and Canada.
The engineer will collaborate cross-functionally to implement and strengthen technical controls on endpoints, services, and SaaS platforms.
Responsibilities include managing systems that enhance the security posture of corporate assets and participating in the Security on-call rotation.
The engineer will analyze data from various tools to identify and mitigate potential threats and work closely with the IT team to secure SaaS platforms.
The position involves collaboration with the Detection and Response Team to enhance detections and establishing security guidelines for safe organizational practices.
The engineer will also help define the Corporate Security roadmap and build relationships with partner and stakeholder teams to develop a scalable corporate security program.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in IT or security, specifically in enterprise security or Detection and Response.
Experience with macOS and Windows management systems such as Kandji, JAMF, or MS Endpoint Manager is required.
A strong understanding of RBAC and ABAC controls is necessary.
Proficiency in using a SOAR platform and automating tasks with scripting languages like Python, Powershell, or Bash is essential.
Experience managing identity providers such as Okta, Google Workspace, or Azure AD is required.
Candidates should have strong experience with EDR platforms like Crowdstrike Falcon or SentinelOne Singularity.
Familiarity with security monitoring platforms such as Datadog or Lacework is necessary.
Experience in a compliance-focused environment, including frameworks like SOC2 or ISO27001, is required.
Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to explain technical security concepts to non-technical audiences.
A collaborative and teamwork-oriented approach is necessary, along with a passion for mentoring teammates.

The position offers a competitive salary, with the annual base salary for US roles ranging from $153,000 to $207,000 USD and for Canada roles from $140,000 to $190,000 CAD.
