Description:
- SEON is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to take ownership of the technology ecosystem supporting global engineering teams
- Responsibilities include providing security insights during application development planning, defining security architecture plans, conducting manual dynamic security tests, reviewing application code, and developing automated security tools
- The role involves validating pentest and bug bounty findings, facilitating remediation of security issues, maintaining infrastructure security controls in AWS, ensuring security posture of Kubernetes clusters, and cooperating with the DevOps Team
- Tasks also include planning and reviewing infrastructure changes, solving automation and GitOps tasks, and supporting audit compliance (SOC2 and ISO27001)
Requirements:
- In-depth understanding of application vulnerabilities (OWASP and similar)
- Extensive experience with penetration testing and application code review (Typescript, Java, Python)
- Expertise in API (Java) and Web application (NodeJS, React) security
- Familiarity with SAST tools, Python, bash scripting, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub, and GitHub Actions
- Thorough knowledge of infrastructure security concepts (network security, encryption, OS security, patching, hardening, IAM, etc.)
- DevOps background is an advantage
