The Senior Application Security Engineer will serve as a technical subject matter expert in application and product security.
Responsibilities include performing design reviews, technical security assessments, and code reviews to identify risks and enhance product security.
The role requires a deep understanding of products and systems to ensure security is integrated into development projects.
Effective communication with diverse stakeholders, including business end users and technical teams, is essential.
Requirements:
The candidate must have experience in the application security domain with a focus on identity.
Essential skills include developing and implementing advanced security techniques aligned with the company's technical architecture.
The candidate should perform regular security testing and code reviews to enhance software security.
Troubleshooting and debugging issues promptly is required.
Maintaining technical documentation related to software security is necessary.
The candidate must provide engineering solutions to mitigate security vulnerabilities in new software initiatives.
Ensuring software security at all levels of architecture is a key responsibility.
Continuous alignment with the latest tools and advanced industry practices for software security is expected.
Industry certifications such as OSCP, CCSP, SSCP, or CISSP are essential.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Network Security, or a related field, along with 10+ years of related industry experience, is desirable.
Demonstrated excellent technical writing skills and project/program management experience are preferred.
Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
