Remote Senior Security Engineer Manager

Description:

• As a Senior Security Engineer Manager at Oportun, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated software/data platforms to achieve the engineering group's goals.
• Your role involves using your technical expertise to solve business problems with technical solutions, contribute to architectural decisions, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions.
• You will lead technology efforts for large initiatives, from technical requirements gathering to successful product delivery for cross-functional and multi-month-long projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science).
• Minimum of 8 years of experience working as a business/product analyst.
• Strong analytical skills using data for strategic decision-making.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Domo, Power BI).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex data insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Knowledge of A/B testing and user experience (UX) principles is a plus.
• Familiarity with financial products and services is advantageous.
