Description:

Mattermost is seeking a Senior Security Engineer (NOAM Nights) to enhance the security of the company, SaaS platforms, and IT infrastructure.
The role involves collaborating with a globally distributed team to design, monitor, and implement security processes.
Responsibilities include leading security and IT projects, detecting and responding to security incidents, and contributing to the development of security policies.
The engineer will have ownership of the company-wide Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution and will administer security monitoring infrastructure.
The position requires administration of Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS, as well as contributing to security incident response and endpoint management programs.
The role involves close engagement with European and international staff.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields, or significant professional security experience is required.
Candidates must have 3+ years of demonstrated experience in security engineering and incident response.
Experience with security monitoring systems and security controls for cloud environments such as Azure and AWS is necessary.
Knowledge of identity and access management and in-depth knowledge of Linux systems is required.
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, infrastructure automation, and software delivery is essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, along with demonstrable teamwork skills and resourcefulness.
Experience managing the security of Microsoft 365 tenants is required.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens and eligible to obtain a U.S. government security clearance in the future.

The salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $165,000 a year.
