Description:

Cyderes is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SOAR Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of their SOAR platform.
The role involves providing technical guidance and leadership to the team and clients, ensuring the SOAR/SIEM system meets their needs.
The candidate will manage and maintain the CYDERES Managed Services SOAR platform, which is crucial for the MS SOC alert management and automation system.
Responsibilities include leading the design and engineering of new content (playbooks) for client SOAR and SIEM platforms, creating custom Chronicle SecOps integrations using Python, and conducting playbook and design reviews.
The engineer will manage the client’s Google Chronicle SIEM platform, assist in defining processes for effective team performance, and help manage the Engineering backlog.
The role also includes recruiting efforts, mentoring team members, and being available for on-call escalations on a rotational basis.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Cyber Security, or a related field is required.
The candidate must have 3+ years of experience working with SIEMplify/Google SOAR/Google SecOps at an expert level and 3+ years with BackStory/Google Chronicle.
A total of 7+ years of experience in Cyber Security or a related field is necessary, including 3+ years in an MSP/MSSP organization.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in client communications, are essential.
The candidate should possess strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C++, or similar.
In-depth knowledge of machine learning, natural language processing, and other AI technologies is required.
Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies is necessary.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are important.
Strong leadership skills and a proven track record of delivering complex technical projects on time and on budget are required.
A strong understanding of networking and cyber security technologies is essential.
