Description:

Huntress is seeking a Senior Security Operations Center Analyst to join their remote UK team.
The role involves triaging, investigating, responding to, and remediating intrusions on a daily basis.
Analysts will work within an elite team dedicated to combating threat actors and protecting small to midsize businesses from cyber-attacks.
Responsibilities include performing tactical forensic analysis, malware analysis, investigating suspicious Microsoft M365 activity, and assisting in escalations from the product support team.
Analysts will also contribute to detection efforts, mentor junior team members, and create external content such as blogs and webinars.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in a SOC, Incident Response, or Forensics role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to explain complex alerts in a simple manner.
Proven mentoring experience is necessary to help junior team members grow.
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, System Administration, or Cyber Security, or equivalent self-guided study experience is required.
Understanding of Malware Analysis and experience with Windows OS and/or Mac OS as an attack surface is essential.
Familiarity with basic Threat Actor Tools and techniques, Windows Administration, and Network Administration skills is required.
Candidates should have knowledge of web technologies and network analysis tools like Wireshark.
