Remote Senior Security Operations Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Security Operations Engineer at LastPass will be part of the Detection, Automation, Engineering & Response Team (DA3RT) focusing on building and maintaining tools for automating tasks.
• Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining automation tools, collaborating with security analysts, implementing automated alerts, staying updated on security threats, and providing training and support.
• The role involves interacting with various teams like Security Operations, Detection Engineers, and Security Engineers.
• The position requires expertise in automation, scripting, and a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, with previous SOAR experience preferred.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Security Automation Engineer.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and PowerShell, as well as automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and automation technologies.
• Previous experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Generalist experience or knowledge in DevOps/Platform Engineering, Penetration Testing, Red Teaming, or Hunt concepts is a plus.
