Description:
As Marqeta’s Manager of Security Operations based in the UK, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of the security operations program.
You and your team will monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to cyber security incidents and threats.
The Manager of Security Operations will oversee the implementation of security protocols and collaborate with stakeholders to maintain and possibly improve the security posture of Marqeta.
You will monitor security events and logs from a variety of systems and networks.
You will identify potential security incidents and threats.
You will perform analysis and investigations, correlating events and data to detect security incidents.
You will develop and document processes and procedures for responding to security incidents.
You will develop and maintain security incident response plans.
You will provide technical guidance, training, and support to other members of the security team.
You will maintain an up-to-date knowledge of security threats, vulnerabilities, and countermeasures.
Requirements:
You must have 2+ years of experience in security operations.
You should have experience with network, system, and application security.
You need experience with security monitoring, incident response, and threat analysis.
You should possess knowledge of security best practices and standards.
You must have knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software.
Familiarity with scripting and automation tools is required.
You should have experience with security tools such as XSOAR, Crowdstrike, Tenable, AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, etc.
Experience in cloud technology, especially AWS, is necessary.
You must have excellent writing and communication skills.
A BS degree is preferred.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, GCIH, Security+, etc., are required.
