Ardent is seeking a Senior Security Software Developer to join their team in a remote position.
The role involves integrating security practices throughout the development and deployment processes.
Responsibilities include automating security measures and ensuring they are part of continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines.
The candidate will engage in DevSecOps as well as software development, creating enterprise-grade tools with thousands of users.
The position requires managing CI/CD pipelines to enhance security, quality, and efficiency.
The developer will work independently while effectively communicating with the team, planning and prioritizing work, and contributing high-quality production-ready code.
Job responsibilities include application development using technologies like Next.js, React, Angular, Java Spring, and Ruby on Rails.
The developer will set up, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Groovy, Docker, and various security scanning tools.
The role involves deploying containerized applications to AWS EKS and providing monitoring and alerting via tools like New Relic and Splunk.
The candidate will research and implement Zero Trust architectures and strategies.
The position requires understanding and improving security practices throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7 years of software development experience, including the full Software Development Lifecycle, full stack applications, service-oriented architectures, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
Experience must include containerized applications and cloud platforms.
Solid experience in writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests is required.
Comprehensive experience with DevSecOps tools and technologies such as Git, GitHub, Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild, and Terraform is necessary.
Candidates must be able to work well remotely in an agile development environment with frequent collaboration.
A BA or BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics is required.
Preferred qualifications include experience with React, Angular, Ruby on Rails, and developing APIs according to the Open API spec.
Experience with setting up Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright for end-to-end testing is preferred.
Knowledge of "Infrastructure as Code" tools and experience with various AWS platforms is advantageous.
Candidates should have good verbal and written communication skills and experience with security automation and machine learning.
Proven experience managing system changes without user interruption is preferred.
