Description:
As a Senior Security Systems Engineer at Spreetail, you will leverage industry-leading expertise to design and implement security architectures that align with business, technology, and security objectives.
You will serve as the primary security architect, driving cybersecurity transformation projects, resolving security design challenges, and ensuring seamless integration across multiple teams.
Your role involves analyzing network traffic, identifying threats, and utilizing event correlation to assess the effectiveness of security measures.
You will provide timely detection and response to potential cyber threats, safeguarding enterprise systems against attacks and anomalous activities.
Additionally, you will evaluate malicious activity to understand exploitation methods and mitigate security risks effectively.
This position is 100% remote in select states, and candidates need to reside or be willing to move to specific states to qualify for remote work.
Requirements:
A Technical Cyber Security Certification through one of the recognized bodies is preferred, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, SANS/GIAC, or CERT.
Typically, candidates should have 15+ years of relevant experience with at least 4+ years in enterprise environments.
Advanced level knowledge of information technology (IT) security principles and methods, as well as network traffic analysis methods, is required.
Candidates should possess knowledge of new and emerging IT and cybersecurity technologies, security system design tools, methods, and techniques.
Understanding of network attacks, threats, vulnerabilities, and defense-in-depth principles is essential.
Knowledge of different classes of attacks and cyber attackers is necessary.
Familiarity with cyber attack stages and network security architecture concepts is required.
