Remote Senior Service Engineer

Description:

• Swiftly is seeking a software engineer with an entrepreneurial mindset to assist in onboarding and servicing clients on Swiftly's platform.
• The successful candidate should have a strong background in backend software development, experience with integration/onboarding projects in an enterprise setting, and possess good interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Responsibilities include designing and implementing backend services, automating processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, configuring and deploying integration software solutions, writing technical design proposals, resolving software integration issues, and providing technical improvements and bug fixes.
• The role also involves working closely with the internal support team, understanding business requirements, and providing recommendations for integration design and development best practices.
• Availability for on-call duties approximately 10 days a month is required.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in developing microservices using Kotlin with Quarkus, Docker, Kubernetes, and Postgresql.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency in test-driven development, automated testing frameworks, and Scrum/Agile methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise backend Java or Kotlin development.
