Description:
Swiftly is seeking a software engineer with an entrepreneurial mindset to assist in onboarding and servicing clients on Swiftly's platform.
The successful candidate should have a strong background in backend software development, experience with integration/onboarding projects in an enterprise setting, and possess good interpersonal and organizational skills.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing backend services, automating processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, configuring and deploying integration software solutions, writing technical design proposals, resolving software integration issues, and providing technical improvements and bug fixes.
The role also involves working closely with the internal support team, understanding business requirements, and providing recommendations for integration design and development best practices.
Availability for on-call duties approximately 10 days a month is required.
Requirements:
Strong experience in developing microservices using Kotlin with Quarkus, Docker, Kubernetes, and Postgresql.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure.
Proficiency in test-driven development, automated testing frameworks, and Scrum/Agile methodologies.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise backend Java or Kotlin development.
