Description:
The Senior ServiceNow System Administrator position is a remote, full-time role requiring 5+ years of experience.
The candidate must be available to work from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
The role involves providing ServiceNow Platform Administration services, including upgrading instances when ServiceNow releases updated versions, which requires preparation, testing, and bug fixes across production and non-production environments.
Responsibilities include setting up and configuring ServiceNow instances, cloning, update sets, API and Restful web services integrations, and certificate management.
The administrator will perform routine maintenance, including performance monitoring and error identification/remediation.
The position requires managing instance security, user/group access, and access control lists.
The candidate will manage the deployment of update sets and synchronization of changes between multiple ServiceNow instances.
The role includes resolving help desk/support tickets for reported incidents or defects and adhering to internal standards, policies, and procedures.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements:
Candidates must be U.S. citizens.
A BS in Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related technical degree is required, or 10+ years of relevant experience.
ServiceNow Certification is a plus.
Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in ServiceNow systems administration and support is essential.
Demonstrated experience with upgrading systems, software migrations, and resolving help desk tickets is required.
Experience configuring mid-servers is necessary.
Strong experience deploying in an Agile environment is required.
