• The Senior Shopify Developer at Avex plays a critical role in helping clients grow their brands and achieve business goals by designing, developing, and maintaining Shopify-based ecommerce websites.
• Responsibilities include custom web development, Shopify configuration and setup, HTML email development, performance optimization, quality assurance and testing, collaboration and version control, compliance with regulations, task management, education, hiring, mentorship, department optimization, training and development.
• The role involves collaborating with designers, architects, and stakeholders to translate design mockups into functional websites, optimizing website performance metrics, conducting thorough testing, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing tasks effectively.
• The Senior Developer is also responsible for interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members, providing mentorship, leading performance reviews, identifying department improvements, and designing training programs for career development.
