Remote Senior Shopify Engineer

Description:

• Corra, a Publicis Sapient company, is seeking a Senior Shopify Developer to join their team.
• The developer will collaborate with project and support teams to deliver high-quality development services to clients.
• Responsibilities include working on new ecommerce projects from development to deployment, maintaining and enhancing existing Shopify Plus websites, and providing technical input during requirements gathering.
• The developer will also participate in Scrum and Sprint planning calls, create technical design documentation, conduct code reviews, and have technical ownership of projects.
• The ideal candidate will have a passion for researching and learning the latest digital technologies.

Requirements:

• Must have at least 5 years of experience in ecommerce with a focus on Shopify Plus.
• Proficiency in web development and Shopify App development is required.
• Expertise in Shopify 2.0, Front end Technologies (HTML/CSS/ES6/JS/Liquid), ES6, React JS, Typescript, Tailwind CSS, and Shopify Liquid template language.
• Experience with Shopify Checkout extensions, migration of commerce sites to Shopify, SEO/SEM best practices, and Shopify APIs.
• Knowledge of REST/GraphQl API, Shopify Hydrogen, Custom Shopify APP development, Theme development, Admin API, Storefront API, and data migration/synchronization in Shopify.
• Familiarity with Git/SVN, AJAX, jQuery, theme-kit, and performance improvement best practices.
