Description:
ModMed is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their team in Boca Raton, FL, focused on maintaining a secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure.
The role emphasizes automation, performance, and reliability, aiming to streamline operations and develop cloud-native solutions for a fast-paced Healthcare IT environment.
Responsibilities include managing AWS infrastructure, improving monitoring and observability with DataDog, empowering developers through standardized infrastructure, enhancing CI/CD pipelines, leading containerization efforts with Kubernetes, optimizing cloud performance, troubleshooting complex issues, implementing security best practices, staying updated on cloud technologies, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating cross-functionally to build AWS-based solutions.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in Cloud/Site Reliability Engineering.
Strong expertise in AWS, including security, performance tuning, and cost management is required.
Hands-on experience with DataDog, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Jenkins is necessary.
Proficiency in automation and scripting languages such as Python and Bash is essential.
A solid understanding of networking, cloud security, and CI/CD best practices is expected.
Proven leadership and mentoring skills to guide teams through complex challenges are important.
Excellent communication skills are required to clearly explain technical concepts.
