Description:
Juniper Square is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to enhance and secure their cloud infrastructure.
The role involves working with modern cloud-native technologies, automating infrastructure management, and improving system reliability.
Responsibilities include owning reliability and scalability initiatives, participating in an on-call rotation, and responding to incidents.
The engineer will design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters, architect AWS infrastructure, and implement CI/CD pipelines.
The position requires enhancing observability and monitoring, improving security, and leading post-incident reviews.

Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering with a proven track record.
Strong experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and networking/security is required.
Proficiency in AWS services such as RDS, Aurora, IAM, VPC, EKS, and EC2 is essential.
Experience in PostgreSQL administration, CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is necessary.
Candidates should have a deep understanding of observability with Datadog and experience with Kyverno for security enforcement.
Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting is required, along with a strong understanding of CI/CD security best practices.
Soft skills include a self-starter mentality, high ownership, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Preferred qualifications include deep experience with GitHub Actions, extensive knowledge of Helm charts, and experience with NoSQL databases.
