The role of Senior Site Reliability Engineer involves building efficient, reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure and code.
Responsibilities include provisioning infrastructure and tooling for the Assured platform, creating automated tooling for platform maintenance, and building sustainable methods for monitoring and scaling services.
The engineer will evaluate and implement strategies for compliance with security regulations and industry best practices.
The position also involves leading, mentoring, and learning from other engineers on the team.

Requirements:

Candidates should have experience working in a start-up environment and possess the ability to build and scale high-quality products and codebases.
A strong inclination towards automation is necessary, along with the ability to discern when automation is not the best solution.
Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available and scalable database solutions, preferably with PostgreSQL, is required.
Recent experience with compliance and security regulations and processes such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001 is essential.
A strong engineering background and a history of designing systems are necessary.
Specific programming language background is not required, as the company values great engineers regardless of technology background.
