Description:

Rev is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join their Platform Engineering team.
The role involves collaborating across Engineering, QA, and DevOps to design, scale, and optimize cloud-based production infrastructure.
This position is high-impact and ideal for individuals who thrive in startup environments and are eager to shape the future of Rev’s platform.
Responsibilities include managing infrastructure and observability of Rev’s cloud applications, designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating development workflows, and collaborating with engineers and QA.
The SRE will analyze infrastructure performance, enhance monitoring systems, and contribute to internal tools like the custom chatbot “Chopper.”

Requirements:

A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Software Engineering.
Strong experience managing cloud infrastructure in AWS using Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools is necessary.
Experience with containerized workloads in Kubernetes and EKS or similar environments is required.
Candidates should have deep familiarity with building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for APIs, web apps, and data services.
Proficiency in configuring observability platforms such as Grafana is essential.
Proactive and clear communication skills are needed to collaborate with remote teams across time zones.
Fluency across multiple languages, frameworks, and deployment environments is expected.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving startup culture is crucial.
