Description:

The Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Filevine will be responsible for developing autonomous systems to manage the operational details of all Filevine Inc. products.
They will act as the voice of Reliability on their team throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Responsibilities include collecting, monitoring, aggregating, dashboarding, and alerting on software and server events.
Improving the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline and developing playbooks, tools, and scripts to streamline processes.
Identifying and fixing gaps in system availability, improving and defending software and system security, and documenting processes and best practices.
They will also find, learn, improve, or create new tools to enable other engineers to work more efficiently.
The role involves mentoring, training, and reviewing junior engineers, working in an on-call rotation for production reliability support, and providing emergency support for services.
Effective communication with technical and management audiences is essential.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 8 years of hands-on technical experience and at least 2 years in Site Reliability Engineering.
Experience in building autonomous systems for software operational management without human intervention.
Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree, 2-6 years of SRE experience, developing internet-scale applications, and incorporating AI or ML into such applications.
