Description:
The role is for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Nivoda, a B2B diamond and gemstones marketplace.
The mission is to build a world-class online marketplace that delivers reliability, performance, and value.
The SRE will work closely with the site reliability engineering team to design, implement, and maintain robust system architectures, monitoring, and incident management processes.
Key responsibilities include assisting in system design and architecture, developing monitoring strategies, participating in incident management, optimizing system performance, and managing infrastructure as code.
The SRE will also help define and measure service-level objectives (SLOs), automate tasks, ensure security and compliance, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and maintain documentation.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 2+ years of experience in a Site Reliability, DevOps, or related role.
Previous experience with AWS is required.
Strong experience with Linux system administration, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker) is necessary.
A strong technical background in cloud computing, distributed systems, and software engineering is essential.
Familiarity with automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines is required.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly are important.
Familiarity with monitoring solutions (e.g., Datadog, New Relic, Grafana) and a programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Bash) is needed.
Nice to have qualifications include AWS certifications, database management experience (SQL/NoSQL), knowledge of security best practices, and knowledge of system performance monitoring and tuning.
