Description:

The Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Podium plays a crucial role in bridging software engineering and systems engineering to ensure the stability, scalability, sustainability, and efficiency of the system.
Collaborate closely with product engineering teams to address their needs and contribute to building a top-notch platform for product operations.
Utilize a range of technologies including Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, AWS, Terraform, Datadog, Prometheus, Ansible, StrongDM, Python, Go, Ruby, GitLab, and GitLab CI.
Engage with the engineering community to identify areas for improvement, enhance system safety, and operational efficiency.
Participate in an on-call rotation to address production and development issues, ensuring minimal downtime for products.
Mentor junior engineers within the team.

Requirements:

Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or possess relevant work experience.
Have a minimum of 4 years of experience in a software engineer or systems engineer role working with production systems.
Possess at least 3 years of experience in deploying, operating, and debugging server software on Linux.
Demonstrate curiosity, a strong desire to learn, and the ability to take part in a rotating on-call shift.
