Description:

TeamSnap is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join their remote infrastructure team.
The role involves building scalable, reliable systems using technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and public cloud platforms to ensure global application reach.
Responsibilities include identifying and resolving pain points in the development lifecycle, collaborating with teams, and leading incident response efforts.
The Senior Site Reliability Engineer will optimize system performance, monitor systems, and champion system reliability to provide an exceptional user experience.
The position requires working on highly available systems serving millions of daily users and large sports organizations.
Collaboration, pair sessions, and virtual team swarms are valued to improve the team and company.

Requirements:

5+ years of Site Reliability Engineering or equivalent experience in building and maintaining large-scale production systems.
Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, cloud platforms (preferably GCP), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
Strong analytical and communication skills, with experience in monitoring, scaling, debugging, and hardening web services and APIs.
Ability to automate and improve operational efficiency using core languages like GO, Elixir, or Typescript.
Experience mentoring junior engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
